Vitality… the meaning is capacity for survival or for the continuation of a meaningful or purposeful existence. I started my journey to change my life over a year ago when I weighed over 350 lbs. I had decided to do something to improve my health.
The first step was to take my health to a manageable level. I underwent gastric bypass surgery, started eating properly, included exercise and a lot of dedication. I’m not going to say that it has been easy, however, I found that I needed to change not only my daily habits but also my mindset.
Time showed me that through this process something was missing. So, I started to search for what I needed to integrate and the answer came in a painful reality. I was pushing my body and felt a sharp pain in my mid to lower back and was desperately looking for care. I asked around for some recommendations and one came from a familiar person, a friend that I have known for over twenty years and she recommended that I see her chiropractor. I wasn’t sold 100% on the idea, so I started doing research on the benefits of chiropractic but I saw it as just a single and quick solution.
I went to visit Dr. Brew and as soon as I walked in Pam greeted me and just gave me an instant feeling that this is what I wanted. She made me feel welcomed as if we had known each other for a long time. I then had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Brew and that sealed the deal as there was an instant connection. She was simply amazing and explained to me her process and method of care. I can say that she completed the missing piece that I was looking for and has provided me with a balance that my soul, mind and body needed to help me on my journey. And if that wasn’t enough, she always slaps me with extra positivity and sends me on my way with a well-rested and balanced soul.
Thanks for all that you do.
